For more than twenty years, we have been training future teachers of English language and literature and students of English language and culture.

Our students, besides learning the English language as such, also learn about the literature and culture of English-speaking countries as well as about the principles of teaching English in pre-elementary, primary and secondary education. In the EnJoY student magazine, they have the opportunity to share their creativity and improve their writing skills in English. In the theater group, they can test their acting and dramatic talent, but also the production of their own English-language dramatic piece. The students build up their organizational skills at our events dedicated to Anglo-Saxon holidays. The department offers many opportunities for studying abroad through Erasmus+ study visits (Great Britain, Germany, Austria, Denmark, Belgium, Poland, Turkey, and Spain).
